Materiali e tecnologie avanzate per le costruzioni sostenibili
NanoInnovation 2023 , 21 settembre 2023 (16:00 – 17:30, evento ibrido, in presenza a Roma e online)
Materiali e processi produttivi avanzati e la loro combinazione con le tecnologie digitali hanno il potenziale per trasformare sia i processi, sia i prodotti, sia le relazioni lungo le intere catene del valore e di fornitura del settore delle costruzioni e della condizione ambientale che si crea attorno agli spazi costruiti.
Questi settori sono tra i maggiori produttori di rifiuti e gas serra a livello globale e consumano grandi quantità di materie prime non rinnovabili. Rappresentano un ecosistema innovativo complesso ed eterogeneo, fortemente influenzato da diversi attori, che sono in competizione nel processo d’innovazione a causa di radicati approcci tradizionali e della resistenza al cambiamento, nonché della frammentazione a vari livelli.
Esistono però crescenti opportunità di cooperazione e di finanziamento a livello nazionale e comunitario per promuovere approcci più innovativi e sostenibili in questi settori nonché iniziative di ricerca pubblica e privata sullo sviluppo di soluzioni innovative per il settore.

La sessione presenterà esempi di innovazioni tecnologiche all’avanguardia e iniziative di co-creazione, networking e finanziamento volte a promuovere la cooperazione e la sinergia tra ricerca, industria, attori politici e società civile per promuovere approcci più competitivi e sostenibili.

Advanced materials and technologies for sustainable construction
NanoInnovation 2023 , September 21 2023 (16:00 – 17:30, hybrid event, in presence in Roma and online)
Advanced materials and manufacturing processes, and their combination with digital technologies, have the potential to transform both processes and products, and relationships along the entire value and supply chain of the construction and built environment sector.
The sectors are amongst the largest producers of waste and greenhouse gases globally and consume large amounts of non-renewable raw materials. They represent complex and fragmented innovation eco-system, strongly influenced by different actors, and struggle to innovate due to the entrenched use of traditional approaches and resistance to change, and fragmentation at various levels.
There are growing cooperation and funding opportunities at national and EU level to drive more innovative and sustainable approaches in these sectors, and as well increasing activities from both research organizations and companies in the field.
Why attending the workshop?
The session will showcase examples of state-of-the-art technological innovations, and co-creation, networking and funding initiatives aiming to promote cooperation and synergy amongst research, industry, policy makers and civil society actors to promote more competitive and sustainable approaches.

Researchers, companies, local, regional and national authorities, civil society organizations and other actors active and interested in the field.
